Eating Salmon? Killing Tasmania
This spectacular campaign was launched with a series of billboards in regional Victoria, and at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport. Recent activity featured again in Melbourne and also Sydney as a way to draw consumers into the importance of their decisions. We want people to question eating foods marketed as sustainable and healthy with links to water pollution, endangered species decline, sacrifice of amenity for local communities, intensive use of precious water resources, use of feed ingredients, antibiotics and preservatives that are not best practice; despite the marketing.
Eating Salmon? Killing Tasmania has become a call for change and continues to feature in our This is Fine campaign drawing the attention of people throughout Australia to the impact of the farmed salmon industry on our marine life and environment.
