Tasmanian Elections 2024

NOFF Guide

We have compiled a simple guide for members and supporters based on the views of candidates in the Franklin electorate towards the industrial Atlantic salmon industry and protection of our waterways.

The guide is based on responses to a short questionnaire circulated by NOFF, and on published policies.

We have broken the list of candidates into parties/groups, and independents.

We hope this guide will be useful for you in making your decision.

  • Green indicates substantial agreement with NOFF's aims and the Dennes Point Declaration.
  • Yellow indicates partial agreement with NOFF's aims
  • Red indicates general or complete support for and protection of the salmon multinationals.

Each entry below has a link to the candidate's full response.

NOFF does not support or endorse any political party. We support any organisation or individual who wants to see industrial salmon farms removed from our shallow rivers and coastal seas.
