Eloise Carr Representing NOFF at the UNESCO World Heritage Convention Held in Korea

We're incredibly proud to see NOFF committee member Eloise Carr representing our community this week in Busan, South Korea, alongside Andry Sculthorpe from the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (@taclutruwita), thanks to The Wilderness Society (@twslutruwita). As part of a broad coalition of Tasmanian organisations, they're calling on UNESCO's World Heritage Committee to send a monitoring mission to investigate the growing threats facing Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Area (TWWHA), including the impacts of industrial salmon farming on Macquarie Harbour and the endangered Maugean skate, and for the return of the TWWHA to Palawa care under genuine shared management.
